River Basin Energy, was founded in 2008 to develop advanced fuels for coal power stations. The company is commercializing biomass fuels to replace coal with bio-coal in thermal power stations as well as supplying high quality coal fuels upgraded from low-rank coal reserves.
River Basin Energy intends to be the leading supplier of enhanced fuels for existing thermal power plants in regions where asset utilisation and a low carbon footprint are of importance to utilities and generators.
